Rebecca is the Founder of York Podiatry. After gaining her Honours Degree in Podiatry from the University of Huddersfield, Rebecca went on to complete postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics at Staffordshire University. She has always had a real passion for learning and developing her skills and, in recent years, has focused particularly on leadership and business development.
Having grown York Podiatry over the last 21 years, Rebecca is passionate about creating a clinic that combines excellent clinical care with a genuinely welcoming patient experience. She believes that standing still isn’t an option and is continually looking for new ways to develop the team, invest in the clinic and bring innovative approaches to patient care.
Her vision for York Podiatry is to build a centre of excellence for lower-limb MSK care in York and the wider region â bringing together great people, clinical expertise and technology to help patients understand their problems, get the right treatment and ultimately get back to doing the things they love.
Rebecca is equally passionate about her team and believes that creating a great place to work is just as important as providing great patient care. She wants York Podiatry to be somewhere people are proud to work, with opportunities to learn, develop and build a career.
Away from the clinic, Rebecca loves getting out into the hills and mountains of the UK with her family and her dog, Jasper. She is also a keen fundraiser for local and national charities and has completed a number of half and full marathons, as well as ultra-distance walking challenges.
