Fungal Nail Infections

If you have one or more nails that are thickened and discoloured, crumbly, loose or misshapen, this may be caused by a fungal infection in the nail. This can be difficult to get rid of as the infection lies under the nail, within the nail bed and many topical over the counter treatments are ineffective. 

A fungal infection in the nail is not usually dangerous to health but is often unsightly and prone to spreading nail to nail. Fungal nails can also become very difficult to maintain as they will thicken over time.
