At York Podiatry, we use Motics Copilot, an AI-powered tool designed to enhance clinic sessions by creating accurate medical notes by transcribing consultations. This privacy policy explains our data practices in compliance with UK law and GDPR.
Data Collection and Use
During Consultations: Motics Copilot records and transcribes consultations, capturing dialogue which is converted to text using artificial intelligence. This data is processed using artificial intelligence to create a medical record of your session.
We use this data to create and maintain accurate medical records.
Data Sharing and Consent
Your data is not sold or rented. It may be shared with healthcare providers at York Podiatry involved in your care. Audio recordings are deleted automatically 48 hours after recording.
Motics can only access data from a session when expressed written permission has been given to access this data for the purposes of technical support only.
In the event that we sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or assets, your personal data may be transferred to a third party as part of that transaction. If such a transfer occurs, we will ensure that your personal data remains protected and is transferred in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.
Any new owner or controlling party will only be permitted to use your personal data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy (or a substantially similar policy), and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your rights and freedoms are not adversely affected.
Then in accordance to the section ‘Changes to this policy’ – can we have a pop up notice on home page stating we have recently updated our privacy policy.
